Boho style wedding dress

Lucy’s wedding was a wonderful English country bohemian affair. There was a Tipi, hay bales and…..rain! so very English. Her bespoke dress design took it’s inspiration from the turn of the 20th century, Edwardian. This has been translated into a bohemian delicate lace and silk georgette multi layered design.I have included some shots from the studio as the dress was progressing.

Katy and Mike married this summer at Manor Barn in Hampshire. These pictures and many more, were taken by the fabulous Sarah Gawler.http://www.sarahgawler.co.uk/I so loved getting to know Katy during the months that her dress was being made and we were meeting for fittings. Katy wanted a stunning low back combined with a soft floaty romantic look. We chose silk chiffon in Ivory over a warmer tone soft silk crepe/satin.The bodice had delicate Chantilly lace wrapped around with cream ribbon and delicate beaded detail.It is so lovely to really see the happiness captured in a set of pictures. The beauty of summer in the English countryside on a perfect sunny day, simply gorgeous.
