Designing a range of vintage style wedding dresses I interpret and combine past eras with sensitivity to original styling and what the modern bride wants.  The thirties art-deco style wedding dress, fifties style wedding dress and seventies bohemian looks are of special interest to me but I have also visited designs inspired by the turn of century Titanic era and forties tea dresses. Bespoke designs or adaptation from the collection are also available. My look leans towards the softer more unstructured and whimsical, using floaty silks that drape and waft.

Being a London wedding dress designer and an incurable romantic with a love of the beautiful and natural is the perfect match. What else could give me the opportunity to work with such beautiful fabrics and styles. I especially  love French lace and can never get enough of experimenting in new ways with it.I have designed and made French lace wedding dresses both long and fifties tea length for many years now. I have developed a range of lace dress that you can view here on the collection page.I like to keep a slightly held back simplicity when it comes to embellishment and decoration although I do love to add flowers and feathers and beads but I firmly believe, again, that all you need is just a touch. I started by making clothes for imaginary fairies in the cherry blossom, no, not bonkers just aged 5yrs old ! with a vivid imagination. Perhaps becoming a wedding dress designer in London eventually was inevitable.

Another love of mine is the sassy thirties bias cut art-deco style. Slinky, sleek and sophisticated. There is a beauty to bias cut and something quite unique about designing and cutting shapes allowing the fabric to take the lead. Adorable silks of many shades and textures are used in my designs. I like to source original vintage trims for original touches. Not to forget another favourite, the fifties style. I have produced many many versions of the fifties style wedding dress; I specialise in lace, silk organza or polka dot overlays for my fifties style dresses. This popular look continues to be a gorgeous choice and offers so much inspiration as a designer to recreate new and exciting versions. I still get really thrilled at the sight of a big petticoat under a lace and organza or a spotty fifties dress hanging in my studio.
